Torment

Has anyone read Torment yet? I just got my copy and I'm about to start reading it

I've read the book and I have to say I love it... but what do you think?
Did Daniel really had a thing going on with Shelby while Luce wasn't there or is Shelby just lying?

I still haven't read it... I don't have enough time these days. But hopefully I'll get to it soon.

And yes, I'm definitely planning on reading it. I'm just not sure how soon I'll manage it.

It's an amazing book, but it really confused me in the ending. And is Cam in love with Luce (like really, really in love), or what?The cover is way better than for Fallen. It was really awesome that Luce could look at her past but if I were her, I would just leave it alone. That Miles was an unnecessary addition that just complicated things even more (She has a boyfriend, so just back off!), and the whole blond thing pissed me off (I can't imagine her with blond hair).
(Even if there's nothing to laugh about)

I like Shelby as a character. I'm not sure what to think about her and Daniel, though.
Miles was okay, I guess. I actually like it that Luce questions her relationship with Daniel. In most YA paranormal romance books the love between the main characters is represented as something perfect. So I think it's great that Lauren made it more realistic by having them argue. Luce doesn't take the things Daniel tells her for granted and I respect her for it.
The ending, however, annoyed me quite a bit. I mean, cliffhangers are great, but not when I have to wait for so long to get the next book. It's maddening, not knowing what's going to happen.

I liked the book.
Particularly parts when Luce doubts Daniel's and hers relationship.
I fully understood her. Everyone were telling her about their big love, and she herself didn't know much about it. She needed to find herself. We all need to do that before we give ourselves to someone else.
I liked that the most in this book; gives it that 'real touch'.

I missed Cam here, and other old characters..
I didn't really like Shelby.. Miles was okay, although I expected more twists with him. But maybe that will come later.
This new school I didn't like that much, Sword and Cross was way better! =)

I can't wait to see what happens next. I think the plot is getting better.

Oh, yeah. I didn't like Shelby ether. When I read the exclusive chapter about her and Daniel it pissed me off even more. How delusional!

Grrr.. I still haven't found time to read those chapters.

I will until Passion comes out.

Yeah, why did she tell Luce that she had something with Daniel when it's obvious that he considered her a child?

Maybe she didn't understand that he saw her as a child...
